On The Town with Jan Carson –
January 2018

JAN-CARSONA New Year is always a time of reflection, both on the past 12 months, as well as our hopes for the brand-new year ahead of us. While 2017 was an extremely challenging year for many people in the Greater Houston area, the lessons of Hurricane Harvey – resilience, determination and compassion for our neighbors – will stand us in good stead as 2018 unfolds. Here’s to a year filled with simple pleasures, abundant love and precious moments to treasure!

The vibe was sizzling hot as more than 500 supporters of the Children’s Museum of Houston did their best impressions of Miami Vice cool… white dinner jackets for the guys and vibrant fashions for the gals. Co-chair couples Gina and Dr. Devinder Bhatia and Molly and Matthew LaFauci upped the “heat” with steamy décor, sultry sounds and a Latin-inspired menu. It all added up to nearly $1 million for innovative child-centered learning programs at the Museum.
